Is It Okay to Judge People’s Clothes?

Standard

Is it okay to judge people solely based on what they put on their body? Based on their clothing? Based on how much, or how little skin they show? Can we make a judgement call? Can we decide everything we want about a person, without speaking to them? Can looking at a person be enough for us to form an opinion? Well, unfortunately, I think everyone is guilty of this..

Is it okay to judge people call based on what they wear, even those who don’t make that decision for themselves? Do we judge children for what they wear, or do we judge the adult who made the decision to put the child’s outfit together and expose said outfit to the public?

Is it okay to judge a person who does not have a place to call home, who lives among the streets, and stoops of the city, who wears whatever they can to stay warm?

Is it okay to judge a woman who spends hundreds (thousands?) on a piece of clothing because… the magazine told her to?

Is it okay to judge a man who made a choice to wear heels?

Who are we to judge what others wear?

Stop judging the world. Maybe the world will stop judging you.
